Some missions require a blitz approach. While you don’t need to rush most of the 40-minute missions, some are much shorter and require a fast 15-minute clear. Try to, at the very least, collect the beams of light and samples that you find in the field that are near your critical path.

Given that the original Helldivers from 2015 is still exclusive, though, we don't suggest getting your hopes up.

Work your way up to the more difficult missions. If you try them right at the beginning, you'll probably fail. Be sure to unlock more weapons and stratagems before you make the leap to challenging difficulty levels.

When selecting stratagems, it’ll be essential to coordinate with your team to select the best possible load-outs for the enemies and mission type. If you’re going up against armored enemies, like the Terminid Charger, you or a squadmate can equip armor-piercing weapons, like the AT-48 Recoilless Rifle or the AC-oito Autocannon, which feature a teammate-assisted reload to keep battles even more chaotic.

But don’t sleep on those defensive stratagems either. While one Helldiver is handling the heavy fire, another Helldiver can call down a shield generator to protect teammates as the enemies push back.

Helldivers 2 was first announced in May as a sequel to top-down shooter Helldivers, and is planned for release on PS5 and PC.

It Helldivers 2 Gameplay is a bit on the difficult side if you’re not playing with at least a friend, but I highly recommend a full group of 4 for the best experience. There are a good few types of missions, and some of them are very challenging as a solo player. If you don’t mind a good challenge, however, or have friends you can party up with, Helldivers 2 is a fantastic time and I sincerely believe you will enjoy yourself.
